1. Service Description
Rank My Shop is a Shopify application that automatically generates, schedules, and publishes SEO-optimized blog posts for your Shopify store. The service includes AI-powered content creation, image generation, automatic translations, internal product linking, and scheduled publishing.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By installing and using Rank My Shop, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please uninstall the application from your Shopify store.
3. Subscription and Billing
Rank My Shop operates on a subscription basis billed through Shopify. By selecting a plan, you authorize Shopify to charge the applicable subscription fee to your Shopify account.
- Starter Plan — $5 for the first month, then $14.99/month. Includes 8 blog posts per month in 1 language.
- Growth Plan — $39.99/month. Includes 25 blog posts per month in up to 3 languages.
- Pro Plan — $79.99/month. Includes 60 blog posts and 5 languages, with usage-based overages capped at $200/month.
Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice. Shopify processes all payments and may charge applicable taxes.
4. Content Ownership
All blog content generated and published to your Shopify store belongs to you. You retain full ownership of your published blog posts, including the right to edit, republish, or remove them at any time. Upon cancellation, all previously published posts remain on your store.
5. AI-Generated Content
Blog posts are generated using artificial intelligence (Google Gemini). While we strive for accuracy and quality, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or require editing. You are responsible for reviewing published content and ensuring it meets your standards. We do not guarantee specific search engine rankings or traffic results from the generated content.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Rank My Shop to:
- Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on third-party rights
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or billing
- Resell the service or use it on behalf of stores you do not own or operate
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the application
7. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Rank My Shop app or directly from your Shopify admin. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. Your existing published blog posts remain on your store after cancellation.
8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain consistent service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, third-party service outages (including Shopify and Google APIs), or unforeseen technical issues may temporarily affect the service.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rank My Shop and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for any loss of traffic, revenue, or search engine rankings, or for any errors in AI-generated content that you publish without review.
10. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or via Shopify's notification system. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through the appropriate legal channels.
